Most “I need a new host” problems are sizing problems
Migration feels productive. It is usually expensive distraction. If the box OOMs at 1 GB, the fix is a 2 GB resize — not a three-day cutover to another brand.
Our position: resize in place when the provider’s API/panel makes it boring. Migrate only when you need a different region set, a different support model, or you are escaping a renewal cliff (see the intro-pricing trap).
Size the next plan with the VPS Finder. If list prices are the reason you want to leave, check the price tracker first — a temporary promo elsewhere may not beat a clean resize. Also: RAM per dollar · Side project VPS.
